  • Up on the Rooftop - new christmas set LE

Ok here is a sneak peak at our Christmas set. I saw this idea online - I think from someone selling a chimney. I had my DH make this one with brick paneling and 2x4's. I still have a few things to add to the set but wanted to see how it was looking so far. I am going for a Norman Rockwell sort of feel with these.

I started with the chimney a little two straight on - I like it better turned a little more like the first one.

    Any other CC welcome!!

But Kori - it is sooooo easy!!! Especially if you make it like I did.

        Have the husband do it.

Deanna this looks awesome. I'm jealous. This is my second Christmas since I started doing photography and I'm trying to come up with something for this year that will be a hit. Any suggestion? Also I'm wanting to purchase a lamp post about 38" do you know where I can get one?

I went to the HL in Baton Rouge but they did not have any. Maybe I should check HL online. Thanks for the info.

I got one from Big Lots just before they closed the store here in town.

1.....I am WAYYYYYY to OCD to allow him to touch my tools.
2.....I am WAYYYYYY to OCD for him to build me something b/c he may not do it right!

I did wanna build the fireplace mantle so it will just give me reason to buy 2 sheets of that dang expensive paneling when I go!

Big Lots had the small lamp posts last year if you are still looking for them.
