Here are two cards I've done this season using Lucis. I promote them as a "Norman Rockwell" style artwork and they've been very popular for the cards. Gives a nice old timey feeling. Using Mpix for my cards and I've been very pleased with their quality.

About Lucis Art (or any other settings applied to images)
I'm sure many are already aware of this but, for some that may not realize that any time we modify an image, the settings we use are always relative to the resolution (total number of pixels) in the image we are working with.
In other words, Cathy's settings worked for that file with whatever resolution it was. If her resolution was significantly different (half, double, whatever), those same settings would not give the same result.
That's not only helpful for working with Lucis Art, but Gaussian Blurs, Unsharp Mask, any type of popular modification that we often share with others.
I just think it can be confusing to some that aren't as comfortable with the technical side of the process, so I hope this helps at least one person.

Good point Danny. I will just have to play with it more.

I think I used Gary Box's code? I did get the discount when I ordered. Also, before I applied the Lucis filter I ran the Imaginomic filter (which I had read here to do) so that seems to make the skin smoother.
I can see doing this combination for Limited Editions, Valentine's, Christmas etc. - I personally love the "vintage" style like the 1940's illustrations etc. so was excited to see these kind of had that feel.
Thanks for the kind words everyone!

If you do a search on DPReview, you will find many threads regarding LucisArt. Someone posted a gorgeous scenic of a fountain, and said she always runs a noise-reduction filter first, using a strong setting. So anyone who is purchasing Imagenomic's Portrait Plug-in may want to consider using the Pro4uM 30% discount code PRO4UM2006 to also purchase Noiseware or the suite/bundle. http://www.imagenomic.com/index.aspx
Do a search and you'll find many discount codes good for 15% off.
