Richard, I like it just as it is. I do a lot of the "non-smiling" look, and in fact notices that all the senior wall portraits I have in my living room/presentation area are non smiling.
Maybe a teeny bit more light in the eyes from a reflector under the face just to open up that area under her eyes, but even without that I like it.

Hey, Dick, before you go and do that....you need to look for Kirk's "Move" and put that on there....personally I don't think the shirt is too distracting....it balances out that big white area over her head.....and I just keep going back to those eyes!!!!
Nicely done from a design standpoint.....
If the sky bothers you that much and you just want to try something.....put in some clouds......still have some white to balance the shirt and yet it will look realistic.....
Really, Great image!

Richard, I was about to suggest rotating the image slightly and, whaddya know, somebody up and done did it!I really like the direct expression that draws you right into the eyes. I'm not real keen on the blue eyes (a very unnatural shade IMHO) but a very subtle enhancement of the eyes in Photo Shop would really add some impact.
