quick! canvas at millers question

So I am busy making an order for my first canvas from Millers, and I guess they offer both a 7oz New Canvas and a 10oz Old Canvas. I can't find any explanation on their website for what that means. Does any one know? I'm really hoping to get this order out tonight, or I would just give them a call.

Hi Brittany!
The Old canvas is a heavier texture. The new canvas is a tighter weave. I find most people like the New Canvas better. I only use the old canvas for environmentals...when you want more of a painting type look. It is too heavy for most portraits and will look like you have skin imperfections.
