Spyware alet and free fix

My computer was crashing a lot, and generally sluggish. I downloaded a free download called Adaware that finds spyware, software that tracks your internet usage and reports it to, I don't know who. It found 22 spy programs on my PC. My crashes have since went away.

I too have used AdAware. While watching TechTV one night they said that SpyBot-Search and Destroy finds and removes spyware that AdAware doesn't catch. The link is http://www2.pcworld.com/downloads/fi...d,22262,00.asp I downloaded the free software, then ran AdAware and immediately ran SpyBot and found several entries that AdAware missed.

Nate - I did a search on google.com for "spyware removal" and then searched within the results for "mac" and came up with 358 results. From what I saw AdAware might have a mac version also.
