Remove all the old adhesive with alcohol before you do anything.
Then use a rubber cement. Not super glue. You can call Marshall at Bozeman Camera Repair and he can tell you what glue to use.

They are also a great supplier of used equipment! Tell him I sent you!
Well, this came up too late...I've already used superglue....all of a sudden all my Nikon stuff started falling apart. First it was the card holder cover, then I noticed that the plastic cover on my wifi transmettier was cracked. Now the rubber grip closest to the camera body is slipping off.
I'm hoping this means that I did so much volume the last year and a half that I finally got some "use" out of one of my "expensive" cameras....This is the longest I've had one camera other than my origional S2 that I began with.
Travis,
This is a common problem with the Nikon rubber. It is best to replace it. The new parts come with new double stick. The rubber deforms so it will not stay even with new glue.
