Please help - how do I turn the beep off? (you know for taking pictures during a wedding ceremony) - I can do it on my 5D, but not my mark2n

There should be a custum function setting that you can shut off the beep.

I went through all the personal custom functions and the regular ones and cannot find anything about the "beep" as it is called on the 5d - could it be referred to as something else?

Is the on/off switch the same as the non'"N" version? The middle position of the 3 position switch turns the beep off.

Debra Brad is right, first click from off turns the camera on without beep confirmation, and second position turns on the camera with beep confirmation.

This is completly unrelated, but I know many of you had this same experience. Back in the films days I had a minister ask, "is that one of those loud Hasselblads." LOL
