  • CC for Pond Photos

CC for these pond photos. Her top was pink, but I changed it to green in PS and want to know if the green top is preferred.

Before saying what I think, could you help us to understand if this is some sort of shampoo ad or other type of Commercial Photography? If not, why a pond?

No, pink is the way to go IMO.

I think it would have been cool if that pink thing in her hand was a little globe.

          The green better.

And I really like the border on the first one. Excellent way to keep the viewer in the whole image. But what the heck is that in her hand. I've lookeded several times and I don't know what it is?

Lighting is nice. A couple of hot spots on her forearms in the second image (which is also the third) but nothing that drastically takes away from the image.

This is one of my senior photos. Not a shampoo commercial. The girls want to get in the pond, and this is just one of several kids.

These are very cool. I love them! The pink works with the ball in the 1st one. The pink is more noticeable in the 2nd one. The green isn't quite right though. Maybe yellow? The 1st one is my favorite.

ewww I can't imagine getting in a pond!

I would have her hair wet to go along with it though. Maybe in a lake or something.

I prefer the pink. It compliments the skin tones and besides the new green doesn't look natural to me.

                        Pink top is better.

I find the rock or whatever she is holding a distraction. What is the point?

With the first image, I would wet her hair. Esp rising out of the water. If it was a model and not a senior, I would see about no top (nothing showing, the greenery is perfect at that).

What about a vertical crop? put her hands underwater so it is just her.

I'm with the pink, it goes good with her skin tone and the green just looks a little off.
I love the pond idea. Great concept!!!

Fun Idea. Don't you love it when you get a senior who will try something different?

In number 1 I would like to see her head more upright, so you see less skin..it would slim her down.

In the 2nd set, if you turn her body to your right/move to her left, you won't shoot straight into her armpit. Also, her right arm looks thinner then...her left arm looks trim, but the expanse of skin looking down the arm and into the skin under the armpit makes her look heavier.

That pond looks much better than mine. My has a lovely green cast to the water. I had seniors ask to put their feet into it or my waterfall, but never get into it.

I do think the pink shirt is much better, the green just looks fake.
