Better light for starters. But since you're in the PixFix category I guess you're looking to fix it.
Here's what I did. I added a little detail back into the dress with the shadow highlight detail function in CS. Then I selected the shadows (ctl/alt/~ and ctl/shft/i) and made a layer out of them (ctl/j). I added a little guassian blur to that layer and changed its blend mode to multiply. Took me about 45seconds. There's still stuff you could do to play around with it but this is a starting point.

It was a last minute idea, and had just quit raining...my options where there was no mud were limited. I was a bit surprised that the bride let me take it out there before the wedding.

ahh...thank you...I wish that I had done that... I took many of these and from different angles, but I never changes my settings a bit, so they all are lacking...
