Question about tripods

I NEED a tripod and need some recommendations on one. I'd love to have one that is very strong, yet very lightweight and easy to open the legs. The only one I had was this one - http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?id=12674 that I sold because it was just way too heavy and the legs were terrible to work with.

Any suggestions on a good tripod?

In march I purchased a c314 induro carbon tripod. 6lbs It weighs less than the head on my previous bogen 3050. Overall I am happy with induro.

How much weight? What type of camera will it need to support?

How will it be used? Backpacking? At the park? Full time studio use?
